Resort-Style Pool & Spa Retreat
A completed custom pool project by Atlanta pool builder White Glove Construction featuring a large geometric pool, integrated sun shelf with in-water loungers, spa, travertine decking, fire pit, and fresh landscaping — a true backyard resort in Metro Atlanta.
Every Angle, Every Detail
The Vision
The homeowners had a spacious sloped backyard behind their traditional two-story home but no way to enjoy it. They wanted a resort-quality pool that would serve as the centerpiece of the yard — a place to swim laps, lounge in the water with the family, and entertain from spring through fall in Georgia's climate.
- Large but unused sloped backyard with no outdoor living space
- Desire for a pool that suited the traditional home architecture
- Wanted in-water lounging and a spa for relaxation
- Needed durable, cool-underfoot decking for hot summers
- Craved a clean, finished look with landscaping and lawn
- Required proper grading and drainage on the sloped lot
Our Approach
White Glove Construction engineered a large geometric pool with a full-width sun shelf, an integrated spa with a spillover, and an expansive travertine deck that ties into the existing elevated deck and stairs. Careful grading transformed the slope into level, usable outdoor living space.
The Result
The finished backyard is a private resort. The generous pool and sun shelf give the family room to swim and lounge, the spa offers year-round relaxation, and the travertine deck, fire pit, and lush new lawn create a polished, cohesive outdoor living space the family uses all season.
- Transformed an unused slope into a full backyard resort
- Sun shelf with in-water loungers is the family's favorite spot
- Spa and fire pit extend usability into cooler evenings
- Cool travertine decking is comfortable even in peak summer
- Fresh landscaping and sod delivered a fully finished look
